You may be wondering…

Unfortunately, I don’t at this time. Editing fiction requires a specialized skill set I’m still developing. I take my work (and yours) seriously and wouldn’t, in good faith, take on a project I’m not yet qualified for.

That said, I’m actively learning and plan to offer fiction editing in the future—so stay tuned!

Unfortunately, I don’t at this time. Editing memoir requires a specialized skill set I’m still developing. I take my work (and yours) seriously and wouldn’t, in good faith, take on a project I’m not yet qualified for.

I would love to edit your nonfiction book, even if it isn’t overtly Christian. However, if your message goes against Jesus’s teaching, I may not be the right editor for you.

I take this work (and your writing) seriously. Over the past two years, I’ve invested more than 150 hours in professional development, focusing on developmental editing, copyediting, publishing, and freelance business management through formal courses, independent reading, and hands-on projects.

I have completed courses through The Christian Pen (where I am currently a member), the Editorial Freelancers Association, the Poynter Institute, ACES: Society for Editing, and Club Ed. I have also interned under Megan J. Conner, gaining hands-on experience alongside my formal training.

Finally, I make a point of reading not only current bestsellers in the Christian nonfiction space, but also the classics, continually expanding my understanding of the genre and the authors I serve.

Every project starts with a conversation about your manuscript and goals, followed by a free review of a sample of your work so I can provide a tailored proposal. Once we agree to move forward, I dive into your work—whether that’s big-picture developmental feedback, manuscript evaluation, or line-level editing.

Throughout the process, I keep communication open, so you always know what’s happening and can ask questions along the way.

I base my rates on EFA Industry Standards. Costs also vary depending on the level of editing your manuscript needs.

For a personalized estimate based on your manuscript’s needs, request a free discovery call. And if you have a specific budget, let me know—I’m happy to work with you.
